Why I Chose to Upgrade My Axial Scx24 Gladiator
As an avid RC crawler enthusiast, I recently added the Axial Scx24 Gladiator to my collection. While it is a great little truck straight out of the box, I found myself wanting more from it. That’s when I realized the importance of upgrades for this tiny but mighty crawler.
Firstly, the stock motor and ESC on the Scx24 Gladiator are decent but not powerful enough for my liking. Upgrading to a brushless motor and ESC not only increased the speed and torque, but also improved overall performance and battery life.
Secondly, the stock tires on the Scx24 have decent grip but lack durability. To tackle more challenging terrains, I upgraded to a set of soft compound tires with deeper treads. This greatly improved traction and allowed me to conquer tougher obstacles without worrying about tire wear.
